CARACAS VENEZUELA 2011
Caracol is a work made with the students from the National Music school in Caracas. Through five weeks of workshops, four versions of Caracol were filmed and three pop up live performances of Ring Tone were performed in down town Caracas.

Caracol, a site specific sound work, l “caracol” (meaning snail shape) that describes the circling atrium of the Araure building on the Sabana Grande Boulevard where the work was made. Here, form and language converge in the voices of the singers. Lisa Blackmore
En abril del 2011 el artista británico visitó Caracas para trabajar en unas intervenciones sonoras en la zona central de Sabana Grande. Este making of muestra el proceso de producción de una obra en video --Caracol-- que fue uno de los resultados de esa experiencia.

In April 2011 the British artist Terry Smith visited Caracas to develop some sound works in the downtown area of Sabana Grande. This making of shows the production process for the video piece --Caracol-- which was one of the results of this experience.
